MENTOR TO SUPERMENTOR

Words like making, teaching, sharing sounds simple but it mean a lot these can create a lot of change in thinking and helps us to know new and creative things which we have ever seen before in life. There where our webmaker comes into picture as a web users i and you know how to browse the data  but when it comes to people who are using web but do not know how does it works webmaker stands like platform for them to explore and create web but when it comes to developers like me .

we feel very excited to know what exactly is going back of web and how does it works ? this question strikes every individual who are using web the for those people the answer is WEBMAKER and during making or doings collaboratively we tend to share things from people, everybody has a skill which is to be worth sharing Because "Sharing Is caring ". When it comes to my personal experience working with people who are not like minded gives us a different experience . You forget things when you try to remember that is common but when we make or do or share something even if we try to forget those things which we make  or do or share that we will not go from our minds through out our lifetime  . That is the awesomeness of learning through making and sharing.Thank you everyone who made my entire journey from mentor to supermentor.

CLUB LAUNCH AND MAKER PARTY @ ST PETERS

Hello folks,

Am back again with  an awesome Firefox Club Launch held at St Peters College of Engineering,Hyderabad .The event started in morning as we entered into the college we were very well received by the concerned FSA's of that college then we entered into the auditorium to my surprise i saw around 150+ people sitting there who were eagerly waiting for event .Then event started with warm welcome of college Dignitaries , Professors and audience.

Firstly it started with igniting the lamp and a traditional song by students of that college as it is a tradition of India. All the Dignitaries  started giving a speech on the importance of having a club in college particularly club which is open and innovative club after that Santosh vishwanatham Regional Ambassador Lead (RAL) started with the speech of open source ,Mozilla its products and Firefox Student Ambassador Program(FSA).

After a long discussion about Mozilla and its Mission we had our lunch and after lunch we had a hands on session on Appmaker as there was a technical issue mean while we had a Spectogram where we enjoyed a lot with answers where we agreed and disagreed .After that hands on session has started and we come across number of webmaker accounts were being created by the students as they are new to webmaker tools even if they were new to webmaker or appmaker but they felt very easy to develop an app using appmaker as it is user friendly. At the end of the day we got around 80+ apps using appmaker really that was an awesome experience we had and enjoyed alot.

Really had a great experience of working and teaching with students and my fellow people .Will be back with another great event .

Cheers,
Sanjay Gouri,
Mozilla Club Hyderabad.

EXPERIENCE AS DEVELOPER TRAINER @CVSR

Hello everyone,

Firefox os appdays @cvsr

Awesome........ this was my feeling towards the event conducted at CVSR one of the best colleges in Hyderabad on 23rd aug'14.I worked as a developer trainer for the event .The event started with a hurry of participants as there were rushing into the hall and after that participants got settled a traditional song was sung by the students of cvsr which gave us a motivation towards our work .

After that the college authorities and Hyderabad representative Santosh ignited the lamp and inaugurated the Mozilla Club later on  intro to open source was given by santosh

igniting

Introduction:

Santosh vishwanatham started telling about the Mozilla community and how one can contribute to Mozilla by various ways and ultimately he told them to choose the path which they love to do it as the event was particularly concentrated on developing apps so he gave an example to how to develop an Hello world app and everyone there got a clear idea about how to develop apps for Firefox.

Hands on session.............

From there the participants started doing applications everyone was very curious to know how their application runs on simulator when everybody started running their apps in simulator i saw a proud feeling in their face that gave me a smile on my face.

In between these many participants got some doubts regarding App Manager so as a developer trainer i cleared some doubts faced by participants i learned a lot from them and shared my knowledge with them .I had great experience with them.

Later on the session came to an end everyone over there finished their applications and they were ready display to their apps onebyone started displaying apps

Here comes the end of our App days distribution of prizes for best apps everyone gave a extraordinary participation we got positive reponse from them but some made our day by making some creative apps but the person who created fruit ninja was given first prize. We learned alot and had amazing experience with people around us and especially the co-developers from Mozilla Club Hyderabad .At last we had a group photo with whole participants of cvsr .

See you soon with another event.....................
