Hello folks,
Am back again with an awesome Firefox Club Launch held at St Peters College of Engineering,Hyderabad .The event started in morning as we entered into the college we were very well received by the concerned FSA's of that college then we entered into the auditorium to my surprise i saw around 150+ people sitting there who were eagerly waiting for event .Then event started with warm welcome of college Dignitaries , Professors and audience.
Firstly it started with igniting the lamp and a traditional song by students of that college as it is a tradition of India. All the Dignitaries started giving a speech on the importance of having a club in college particularly club which is open and innovative club after that Santosh vishwanatham Regional Ambassador Lead (RAL) started with the speech of open source ,Mozilla its products and Firefox Student Ambassador Program(FSA).
After a long discussion about Mozilla and its Mission we had our lunch and after lunch we had a hands on session on Appmaker as there was a technical issue mean while we had a Spectogram where we enjoyed a lot with answers where we agreed and disagreed .After that hands on session has started and we come across number of webmaker accounts were being created by the students as they are new to webmaker tools even if they were new to webmaker or appmaker but they felt very easy to develop an app using appmaker as it is user friendly. At the end of the day we got around 80+ apps using appmaker really that was an awesome experience we had and enjoyed alot.
Really had a great experience of working and teaching with students and my fellow people .Will be back with another great event .
